I offer tutoring for first through eighth grade students in the Ann Arbor area. I specialize in all aspects of literacy and mathematics. Beyond reading and writing, the teaching of literacy includes phonics, comprehension, handwriting, spelling, and grammar. Elementary math subjects include arithmetic, geometry, pre-algebra, measurement, estimation, and the study of fractions, decimals, percentages, graphs, tables, money, and time. The individual needs of each student determine the focus of each lesson.
